I was so excited to decorate our first condo back in 2012 (it’s what inspired our blog!) We painted each room a different BRIGHT color! Looking back, I just cringe.
But, it was important for us to do so that we could learn. We learned that paint swatches do NOT accurately reflect how a color will look on your walls (that’s how we ended up with a purple bedroom!)
We learned that a color scheme throughout your home should flow and not feel disjointed.
And, most importantly, we learned that color is super personal. Just because something works for someone else, doesn’t mean that it’s the right paint color for you.
